My sister shared a story with me just now on the phone, and I think it's worth to share. An old man took a four hours train to the city, wanting to meet his son, Ben, very badly. He has not been seeing Ben for more than five years, after Ben graduated from university. And that day was Ben birthday, he bought Ben's favourite fruit cake and a small red candle, as usual, like how he had celebrated for Ben when he was young.Old man reached the city at night, standing in front of Ben's apartment, and pressed the door bell for several times. Ben was not home. Unfortunately, the rain started falling off from the sky, and the temperature went down immediately. Old man has no where to go, so he sat outside the door, and waited for Ben to come back home.After a few hours, Ben came home with her girlfriend. Ben was so shocked to see his dad outside his apartment. And Ben's girlfriend asked,"Hey Ben, who is this old man?" Ben had no idea how to answer her girlfriend, and Old man started speaking."My dear son, so happy to see you!!""Ben! I thought you told me your father owns a company in U.S. and he has no time to visit you?""Ohh my dear, this dirty old man is not my father, probably he is some begger from somewhere!""Ben, I know you are lying! I hate liars..." and Ben started quarreling with his girlfriend, and his girlfriend left. Old man was really surprised with the ending, and he remained silence.Ben was really angry, he knows he can do nothing to save back his relationship. He didn't really feel sad for the relationship because this girl has always been a bitch. However, he felt quit embarrased by his dad, appeared at his door step out of a sudden."Dad, what are you doing here? Is there still last train for you to go home? Sigh, it doesn't matter now, come in, it's already very late."Ben invited his dad into the apartment, and left his dad in the living room, "you can sleep here tonight, and don't disturb me, I am really tired..." Ben pointed to the sofa."Ok," Old man nodded his head. Ben went to bed, and left his father in the living room. A few moments later, old man remembered about his cake, so he went inside Ben's room silently. He opened the cake box, put the cake on the desk, and lighted the candle. When he wanted to sing Ben a birthday song to surprise Ben, he remembered that Ben told him not to disturb him. So, he sang softly, and quietly."Happy birthday Ben, I love you."And, Old man left, decided to find a way to go home, even the last train has already left.Ben woke up, wanted to say sorry to his dad, and he saw the cake on his desk and a letter.Dear Son,Your father misses you badly, and took a train to your city and find you. Today is your birthday, and your father had already plan for this surprise one month ago. I wish you can spend your time well today, and chat.....Ben's eyes filled with tears, it's a letter from his mum! And because of Ben's selfishness, Ben disappoints his father. Ben's father is old, and suffers from Alzheimer's Disease. He ran out of the apartment after he read the letter, wanted to find his dad. But, it's too late. -END-I feel so sad after hearing this story. And to my dear friend, after reading this story, to think back, how long we have not been telling our parents that we really love them? Do it today, before it's too late.

introduction
MLee Pei, commonly known as Pei Pei/Peggy. A Taiwanese who had just finish her 8 years of study in Singapore. She will be turning 21 in no time, but she refused to follow the time.
